Welcome, everyone, to my poetry
website. My prayer is that each and
visitor will find something here that
will point them to Jesus Christ. The
first poem featured on this website is called simply
BLIND CHILD'S PRAYER. God blessed me with this poem
37 years ago. I have been told, and I personally feel
that it speaks to everyone in a different way. I pray
that it blesses you, as it has me.
Poem # 2 is called DELIVERED. This one is my own
personal testimony. Enough said.
In 1998, my cousin called me and asked me to do a
poem for their Bible School. She said they needed it to
be along the lines of the Ten Commandments, but that
it should be paraphrased. Thus...MOSES' RULES.
TOO LONG TO BE WRONG just speaks about the
length of eternity. Make the right decision while you
still can. Today is the day of salvation.
There is but one blood that was shed at Calvary for
my sins and yours. It belongs to Jesus. I call this poem
THE BLOOD.
My prayer is that each and every visitor to this site
will take the time to read and absorb each one of these
poems. Feel free to leave your comments with your
name on the guest book.
If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, may
something in these poems lead you to Him, so you can
live in Heaven throughout eternity.
Romans 10: 9-10 tells us 9)" That if thou shall confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine
heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall
be saved. 10) For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation."(KJV)
Jesus is soon returning to claim his bride, the church.
Don't wait until you see the Eastern sky split, or hear the
trumpet sound to call on the only name whereby men can
be saved. Jesus loved you and me enough to die on the
cross so that we could have eternal life, by confessing
Him as our Savior.
Is your name written in the Lamb's Book Of Life?
If so, You are JUSTIFIED as well. I don't mean that your
sins are justified. God looks upon a born-again believer
and sees his Son's blood applied to your heart. He can't
see past the blood of Jesus Christ.
If you are searching for true PEACE, you will only find
that in the person of Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY true
PEACE in this life.
There are many forms of abuse. Luckily, the abuse I
suffered was mainly verbal, emotional, and mental. How-
ever, I KNOW there are women who live this life on a
daily basis. BATTERED was written for these unfortunate
ones. There is HOPE. His name is Jesus!
Each of us, one day will stand before the King of Kings
at THE JUDGMENT. We will all be judged, and our
record will be compared with that of the perfect Son Of
God. I know I, for one will be sadly lacking. This
particular poem came to me in a dream. I wrote it like
I dreamed it.
The Bible says in Luke 16:23, "And in Hell he lift up
his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off,
and Lazarus in his bosom." There is NO turning back, NO
escape once you are there!
Yes, God , I believe, has become ashamed of most of
us and we, too should be ashamed of how we "serve God".
Hence, Our Shameful America.
Let's get Back To Basics, America! Basically this means
loving and trusting the one true and living God for all our
needs...no matter the size or the complexity. It also means
working for what we have, not depending on the U. S. govern-
ment for a "Handout"!
My God Provided The Way just talks about how God made
a way when it seemed there was no way. Have you ever
been in a situation such as this? Did God deliver you?
This just lists some possible reasons that Jesus came to
earth, gave His life to save us (You and Me) from a life of sin.
It also reiterates that we are Jesus' reason for going to the
cross.
Jesus assures us that there is no other way to enter the
kingdom of God except coming through His shed blood . He
says, "I Am The Way", the truth, and the life.
He made Me New! tells about how I felt right after I invited
Jesus to come into my heart. "Behold old things are passed
away, and all things are made new." Would you like to be
brand-new again? Ask Jesus to come into your heart to live
there, as your Lord and Master.
Has God ever broken a promise to you? Wait a minute...
I can answer that with an emphatic NO...NOT ONE! God will
always KEEP his promises. Do we? ALWAYS? How many
times have we let our friends down by breaking a promise?
EVERY PROMISE reassures us that God will DO exactly what
He says He will do. I praise Him for that fact today!
How do you and I "measure up" to Jesus Christ? We
don't. He is so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o far above us! On our
very best day...not even close. However, we must
STRIVE to be like Him.
